Bad dog

I was popping out to buy food for weekend... When I came back our kitchen was ALTERED. When Tahvo is behaving badly we tell him to go to bathroom for a while "to think what he has done wrong". Tahvo knows very well that the garbage are not for him. I had a bit of trouble to keep my face serious when I noticed that when he hadn't found anything interesting enough from the garbage bin he had punished himself by going in the bathroom to be ashamed...

It's a good thing we recycle (otherwise too ofcourse), because the only bucket that Tahvo has access is plastics (and other things that can be burned for energy).

I have soooo many plans for the weekend! Jaakko is going away to visit his friend and that means I can mess up this little, little appartment. (For some reason Jaakko gets really difiicult, when my clothes fill the bed/bedroom floor, my sewing hobby inhabits the kithen table and stools and then his last resort; the livingroom sofa is "infested" with my other crafts!?)

Welcoming the year 2009

New year went peacfully with friends and good food. Christmas time was full of relatives and, well, good food (my favorites being sweet raisin "soup" with whipped cream! And some rice porridge too)

Here are some of the presents I got (last year, oh!). The shoe is made by LOVELY Tilda instructions.

These really fine wool socks are a gift from Jaakko's grandmother (she is a really skillful knitter)

And this hand made, one of a kind! train for the doll house children to play with ;) Thanks Lissu!

Tahvo got this cool life jacket! This will make our trips to the summer gottage more safe than ever! (we need to travel about 1,6 kilometers with boat to get there)

Then we can joke about officer Tahvo ;)
Maybe he will arrest us because of our bad sense of humour...

Summer is finally here!

My holiday is going very nice idling. We are going to go to the beach today too. The weather is beatuful ! Up above: the smoke-sauna jaakko's grand father has built from the cratch. Then the butterfly that had died on that flower...and next the first blueberries I found and last but not least Tahvo in the beach with us.
